Shattering and Scandalizing the Serpent’s Sex Schemes
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
It is not by chance that Satan is referred to here as the Old Serpent. That same original schemer and deceiver from ancient times. It is not by chance that his occupation of deception is identified here.
Satan has so weaponized sex and turned sex into an unholy collusion, collaboration and cohabitation between forbidden parties (people whom God says should not have sex) that it is used as a metaphor for the collusion between the Kings of the earth and the False church that now is and that will continue to be.
17 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. It is also not by chance the false church is called a whore and the kings of the earth have committed immoral sexual acts with her. It is instructive to note that the illicit joining together of two unlikely parties are called fornication or immoral sexual behaviours. Several passages refer to Israels idolatry as spiritual fornication:
Jeremiah 3:6–9 God says Israel “played the harlot” and Judah did not fear, but also went and “committed adultery.”
• Idolatry and covenant-breaking are explicitly called whoredom and fornication.
• Ezekiel 16:15–17, 26–29 Jerusalem is described as a wife who “played the harlot” with foreign nations and idols.
• The imagery is graphic: Israel’s unfaithfulness to God is spiritual fornication. Ezekiel 23:1–4, 17–21 The allegory of Oholah (Samaria) and Oholibah (Jerusalem) portrays both kingdoms as sisters who committed fornication with foreign nations and idols.
• Hosea 1–4 Hosea’s marriage to Gomer is symbolic of Israel’s unfaithfulness.
• Israel’s idolatry is repeatedly called whoredom or fornication, showing the breach of covenant with God.
So that sexual immorality is repeatedly portrayed in the Bible as a breach of covenant and an unholy union between two parties.
Theological Meaning
• Fornication = Idolatry: In prophetic language, Israel’s worship of other gods is spiritual fornication.
• Marriage Covenant: God is portrayed as Israel’s husband; breaking covenant is adultery.
• Seriousness: The metaphor underscores how deeply God views idolatry — not just as disobedience, but as betrayal of intimate covenant love.
Summary
Israel’s unfaithfulness is called “fornication” in Jeremiah 3, Ezekiel 16 & 23, Hosea 1–4, and echoed in Revelation 17. The prophets use marital imagery to show that idolatry is not just sin, but covenantal betrayal — spiritual adultery against God.
This alone tells us that fornication is an unholy union between two parties. And this unholy union is driven and energized by Satan’s sex schemes and devices. Tonight we will explore these schemes, devices and bondages and hopefully liberate you from the bondage of corruption.
Satan’s Schemes

Scheme 1. The first scheme of the serpent is to delude men and women into thinking that every nation or group of people is entitled to their own culture and way of life, and he has led us to believe that the cultural customs of the community is the divine will of God.
Whereas, every culture (a body of people identified by language, customs, values, practices and similar attributes) has a serpent-defined worldview that may not and mostly does not match up with God’s will.

Scheme 2. If someone has sex with you they love you when the reverse is the truth, if someone loves you they will or at least wANT TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU.

Scheme 3.We all were given a free will to do what we want
Scheme 4 Sex is a personal choice and pre-disposition, to join With whom, where, when and How one desires and You have no responsibility or accountability to any one and is therefore a private encounter between you and anyone you choose
Whereas it is the enactment of a covenant of fidelity and you are accountable to the one with whom that covenant is made.

Scheme 5 Sexual intercourse is simply a matter of pleasure and personal self gratification.
When It really is is a device created by God for an expression of covenant fidelity

Scheme 6. Sex is for old people when in truth and in fact Sex can be enjoyed by all people of all ages..
