From the Garden to Golgotha God is Gracious

Judah is a Lion's Whelp
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord and who shall dwell in his Holy Place?
Created in his image
26 And God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
God made man in his image after his likeness. It must be noted that man was madein his own image. When he made the beasts he said after their own kind. I gather from this lions were to looh like lions, and behave like lions.
In like manner humans in their prelapsarian state were to be like God and behave like God

Let us explore the marraige of Adam and Eve.
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Note that God gave back to Adam that which was taken from him. "She was taken out of man" and God "brought her unto the man". when a woman gets married, leaves her father and mother and cleaves unto her husband, she is doing so because she belongs to the man. Marriage is a declaration of belongingness. That's what the first marriage epitomized. But it also says he belongs to me. He is my origin, he is my source, I came from him. I am restoring what was originally so. We would learn from Paul that this is a great mystery. But it is a Type of Christ and the church. Every man and woman that gets married is saying See, here, I am portraying Christ and the Church. Therefore they shall become one flesh.
It is note worthy that the woman does not go into the man. The man goes into the woman. So here is the trilogy.
Woman taken from man - Woman brought back to man -Woman surrenders to man - Man goes back into woman - They become one flesh.
The question remains, is there room in that relationship for a second woman? Or even a third? Can't many women represent that one woman to whom the man may cleave to. Can't a multiplicity of women represent this woman to whom the man cleaves.

Gen. 2:
Would you say that God's bringing Adam and Eve together in the Garden of Eden was the biblical blueprint of what a marriage should be like?

Would you say that thereafter every marriage after Adam and Eve's was a shade off from that of Adam and Eve's.
