God has no interest in the demise of anyone. Every fibre of God's body works toward  achieving the Goal os saving men and women.

The Bible says at the time of this ignorance God winked. In other words God ignores and pretends he does not see. Rom. 3:25 it says that Christ offered himself for the remission of sins that were overlooked by God. In Malachi  3:17 he says I change not. that's why the sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Sometimes in order to develop character in his children, God would test them with trials and troubles in their life. The good news is that God knows our frame. He knows how we are made up and what we are made from. He remembers that we are dust. So he will not give us more than we can bear. In fact in addition he makes a way of escape.

​

If we do something wrong, God may rebuke or express his disapproval, but He will not keep on dwelling on the matter. And if you need wisdom to do something, you can ask God and be sure he will not make you feel embarassed.

​

God revels in contrition. No matter what you have done, if you are contrite God will never turn you away. He lives and dwells with  the contrite.

​

If he loves you, you can expect to be chastened by whim if you misbehave. It is part of his disciplinary strategy.

​

Finally, if you are guilty and fail to repent and accept God's forgiveness God's holiness requires that you be not spared. 

​
