The Boundaries

By boundaries we mean the limits God has set on the behaviour of mankind.  As early as Gen. 2:17 God said: "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die:

When man kind chooses to go outside the bounds that God has set - they are bleeding the boundaries.

  Abd God said: Whosoever diggeth a pit shall fall in it and who so breaketh a hedge a serpent shall bite him. These are the stories of men and women, the pits they dug, the hedges they broke, the falls therein and those who found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

How did man know what things pleased God and  what did not. Some might claim they had the Law. But the Word of God says the Law entered that the offence might abound - it was added  because of transgressions - and the Law was given by Moses. So man did not always have the Law.

12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, M, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) God expected mankind to obey the Law of their conscience. God told Cane if you do well will you not be accepted, And if you don't, sin lieth at the door. Mankind were expected to stay within the boundaries set by God. But even before Moses delivered the Law Aaron broke the boundaries

The Only Gang Rape in
the Bible

There many sins in the bible, why should this study focue on sexual sins. It seems to me that sexual immoralty is the most frequently committed sin in the Bible. In fact the word of God says in 1 Corinthians 6:18

Flee fornication. Every other sin which a man doeth is outside the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.  Seems as if sex is the most destructive of all sins and we are to be on the guard.
