When the Master Mashes Mess

Deuteronomy 23:13

And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee: Hallelujah

I can remember about 1 year ago I was heavily catheterized. One day I was visiting with my brothers in the country and we went to the beach. After coming from the beach we were sanitizing ourself at the beach facilities – the stand pipe. I should say they were. I did not or rather could not use the sea. But I was standing there with them while they were bathing and washing off, about 4 brothers and a sister when I suddenly had a mishap. I was decatheterized. The tube from my catheter was dislodged and I was pulling on it to re-connect it to the bag. There is a degree of elasticity in the tube, so that when it came loose the end of it flew into the air and spilled particles of liquid human waste into the atmosphere.

Unfortunately, some of it found nowhere to take its rest than on hand of one of the most scornful of my brothers. The only thing he did not do is kill me. That boy began to jump and spring and bawl you would think it were human excreta.That emphasizes the disgust one shows when they accidentally come in contact with human emissions no matter where it came from.

My daughter was walking through Arima once when suddenly a loose young man, “harked and spit” and s strong breeze took the spittle and deposited it on her, thank God it was her arm. All she got was, “I am sorry”. After all what else can you get.

Imagine the disgust of God, while walking in the cool of the day, enjoying the evening breeze when suddenly he encountered a “hiding Adam and Eve” who were afraid to show themselves because Genesis 3:10 “ I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.” That encounter was so shocking and disgusting to God that he ushered in a series of measure that have affected to world for the past estimated 3000 years. This what it caused:

1.      ¹⁴ And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

2.      ¹⁵ And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

3.      ¹⁶ Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children;

4.      and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

5.      ¹⁷ And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake;

6.      in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

7.      ¹⁸ Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

8.      ¹⁹ In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken:

9.      for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

10. ^20 (And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.²¹ Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.²² And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil😊

11.  and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:²³ Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.²⁴ So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

That’s the Malediction, Mayhem, Meltdown, that is Manifested, when the Master Mashes Mess.

So God Says:

Deuteronomy 23:13 And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee: Hallelujah

Every Christian must have a weapon. You are called to fight.

Every Christian must have a paddle. You need a paddle because sometimes in your zeal to fight. You create some mess. Show me the Christian who never created mess in the church and I’ll show you the Christian who never used a weapon.

David was a great soldier. Saul slew his thousands but David his Ten Thousands. But God Said: 2 Sam.12:¹⁴ Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

God’s Response to Mess

⁸ And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.

⁹ Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

¹⁰ Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

¹¹ Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

¹² For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

¹³ And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

Why did God not Kill David?

Lam. 3:22-23 ²² It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. ²³ They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

²² Acts 13:22 when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

²³ Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

Some of you here may have messed up badly – but God is planning to bring forth a Pastor to DGH.

There is a Paddle – God has not only given to us the weapons of our warfare – but he has given us a Paddle -

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

I will come and kneel before the Altar because
