Pre Law Peri Law and Posts Law refers to the different periods when God dealt with the people of the earth.

Pre-Law is the period from Adam to Moses before the Law was given. Because the Law of God was given by Moses.  

Peri Law refers to the period of time when God gave Moses the Law up to John the Baptist.  The Law and the Prophets were until John.  The Law was given by Moses but Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Post Law - Is the period of Grace and truth. So Jacob lived Pre-Law, Nadab and Abihu lived Peri_Law and Paul lived Post Law.
